Brent Browett
About the Author
Brent Browett has been working in EMS since 1979, starting as a primary care paramedic in the field and as an ambulance dispatcher. In 1984 he graduated as an Advanced Care Paramedic and for another 16 years he worked full time on the street while functioning as the Program Director for the local Base Hospital. He also managed an in-hospital paramedic response team for seven years during this same period. In 2000 he became an Operations Manager for a large municipal paramedic service and now serves as a Director. Brent’s management education includes an Ontario Supervisory Studies Certificate, and he has two degrees, a Bachelor in Prehospital Care and a Master’s in Justice, Public Safety Leadership and Training.
